Family and Background

I have had the privilege of growing up and living on the shore for most of my life.  Plan to retire here as well with my soon-to-be husband, Mark.  I have a beautiful daughter, Baylee, and a handsome grandson, Shaw.  Baylee will also be tying the knot next year, so I have a soon-to-be son-in-law, Ryan.  I’m very lucky to have all my family living on the shore, especially my Mom, she is my rock. 

What inspired you to pursue the career you have today?

Due to circumstances out of my control, I started my career and the Foodbank of Southeastern VA and ES and then I proceeded to take a big leap into Real Estate with Coldwell Banker Harbour Realty.  Coming from 20 years with a leading Food Service Company, the Foodbank was a breath of fresh air for me.  It showed me a whole different aspect of the “food business” – a rewarding one.  The realtor side of me has given me independence, strength, and self-worth that I didn’t know I had.  

What is the best piece of advice you have been given?

Keep on going till you can’t go any further!

What is your favorite Eastern Shore activity?

Bayside boating for sure…camping close second!

What is the one thing you would tell your younger self?

Do what makes you happy, not everyone else

What is your favorite holiday tradition?

Christmas shopping with my Mom and daughter
