The Chamber's annual Seafood Festival is held on the first Wednesday in May on Chincoteague Island. This event, established to promote Eastern Shore seafood, has become a rite of spring on the Shore. This year's festival was on Wednesday, May 5th, 2010 at Toms Cove Park.
The menu included steamed clams, clam fritters, oyster fritters, single-fried oysters, clams on the half shell, oysters on the half shell, fried fish, spoon bread, French-fried sweet potatoes, Tyson grilled chicken, and much more.
Entertainment was provided by Midnight Country Express.
